Sydney Metro City and Southwest Consultation Announced

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has announced the start of community consultation on Sydney Metro City & Southwest (formerly known as Sydney Rapid Transit). Community feedback is open until Friday 17 July, with people invited to make a submission on the project. A Project Overview has been prepared to outline Transport for NSW's proposal. As part of this consultation they are asking the community for thoughts and comments on the options of a new rail station at either Waterloo or University of Sydney.
They will also be holding a community information meeting at Redfern Oval Community Rooms on Saturday 20 June and also at the TfNSW Information Centre on Thursday 18 June. Transport planners and experts will also be available at the sessions. For other locations, up to date details or to download the overview document please visit their website.
