The Urban Transformation Strategy
UrbanGrowth NSW has developed an Urban Transformation Strategy of around 50 hectares of government-owned land in and around the rail corridor from Central to Erskineville Stations.
The Strategy contains an ambition, vision and the ten key moves that set the framework for the future delivery of more homes alongside better public transport, new parks and community facilities.

UrbanGrowth NSW is the NSW Government’s urban transformation agency. Our ambition is to transform city living so it is more vibrant, connected and healthy for all.
Through the delivery of world class urban transformation, we aim to maximise the value of government land for public good, improve the amenity and liveability of our urban spaces, and enable housing and jobs growth close to public transport.
As a state-owned corporation, we lead the collaboration between government agencies, local councils, residents, industry and the private sector on a portfolio of projects that will help strengthen the global competitiveness of our cities and deliver economic growth for NSW.
